Sealing your Touch-Vac Containers

How to Seal your Touch-Vac Containers.

View the index page

TO SEAL

- The valve on top of the lid should be in the down position when starting the vacuum seal otherwise you are just transferring air in and out of the container.

- Use the ball of your palm (Like CPR) just under the valve are - you do not need to press with all of your strength to create the vacuum seal.

- Press until you hear no more noise coming out of the container - it could be 2 times for the small container or up to 10 times for the very large container*.

-The final step is to lock down the handles**.

* you can also use your forearm to close any of the containers - except the smallest container in each set.  Simply leave the blue valve cover in the up position, lean onto the lid with your forearm/elbow, close the valve cover and them give it a couple of more pushes using the palm of you hands (like CPR) until you no longer hear air coming out.

** Close the handles on the larger containers prior to taking the air out.

TO UNSEAL

- Lift up on the blue value cover and the air will come back into the container

- Unsnap the handle from the side of the bowl and then you can remove the lid.
